Congratulations to Elise Reid, she was the R.A.K.E. award winner for today. She was identified as doing the following;

Elise Reid- A student on crutches was leaving the office, and Elise ran over and opened the door for the student.

Our CHS Varsity Girls Basketball team will be competing against Barstow today in the Grain Valley Basketball Tournament. Action starts at 5:30 PM. Good luck, Hornets!

Our CHS Boys Basketball teams are in action tomorrow (Thursday) night in Moberly. The Junior Varsity plays at 6 PM and the Varsity follows at 7:30 PM. Let's Go, Hornets!

Congratulations to Keeley Ward, she was the R.A.K.E. award winner for today. She was identified as doing the following;

Keeley Ward- Today, she volunteered to help a student on crutches by carrying her bags to her next class. What a smile she brought to the student's face!

Congratulations to Maicee Albrecht, she has signed her letter of intent to play college softball at Metro Community College.

Emerson Staton- At the girls' basketball game, a wild ball went into the stands and was very close to hitting one of my kids, and knocked over his bottle of Gatorade. Emerson ran over, checked on us, and set his drink back up… all between plays!!

We are thrilled to announce that Lisa Rule’s CHS Drama Department has been awarded a $2,000 Stellar Award in recognition of its outstanding impact on student growth and learning and for strengthening school & community connections through exceptional theatrical performances. This award is generously funded by Paul and Betty Steele.
