Cody Lybarger- Cody stayed after school and put up a teacher's classroom chairs so the custodians could clean the floors without being asked to do so. The teacher appreciated it very much!
Mrs. Ellen Duckworth - On this very windy morning, the trash can lid to our outside trash can had blown away into the grass in front of the school. Ellen tracked it down and put it back. Leading by example!

Paxton Keith- A teacher had a sub, and the sub didn't know how to work the interactive television screen in the classroom. The sub teacher left a note saying that Paxton was a great help in the first hour with the interactive television screen.

Kiera and Kyler- They went around a classroom and picked up all the trash they could find and cleaned out the sinks.

Jasmine McLean-There was a spill outside the front office, and Jasmine cleaned it up without being asked.
Luke Thompson- A student dropped ice all over the hallway. Luke was walking by and immediately stopped to help the student pick up all the pieces.

CHS Key Club and FCCLA held their annual Turkey Trot during advisory on Tuesday, Nov. 25. Students paid $1 to "trot" out of advisory to the commons to hang out with friends and purchase various baked goods. The event raised $400 for the YMCA Buddy Bags program, which helps to ensure all children have nutritious food at home on the weekends. Way to go, CHS!

Mayli Albaugh and Mea Campbell- Mayli and Mea noticed there was some trash/dirt on the bus. Without being asked, they went outside to clean it for the bus driver.

John Bevelle- John helped bring in a box of t-shirts to the school from the teachers' parking lot. He noticed the teacher struggling to carry all of their things, and he took them from the teacher at the front door and carried them all the way to their room. In a separate incident, John carried another teacher's bags into school and then all the way to their room, only to find the teacher's back was hurting from carrying them!
