📣 Attention Parents! Join us for Kindergarten Parent Orientation on Monday, April 14! If your child will be enrolled in kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year, we invite you to attend. Feel free to bring your incoming kindergarten students along! 🌟 #ChillicotheSchoolDistrict

Today is National Siblings Day!
Pictured are just a few of the many siblings who get to attend CES together. Since becoming one school this past year, we’ve seen so many wonderful benefits—not only for parents who now have all their elementary students in one place, but especially for the students themselves.
Siblings arriving together, sharing hugs and encouragement before class, and catching glimpses of each other throughout the day has brought such warmth to our halls. There’s something truly special about the reassurance that comes from knowing your big or little sibling is just down the hall. It’s been a heartwarming part of our CES community and a beautiful glimmer in our days!

Only a few days left to visit the CES Art Show! The Artists' Reception is this Friday!

Kindness is everywhere at CES! The three recipients of this week's awards were nominated by a teacher or staff member for showing exceptional kindness. They received a sunshine bag and the opportunity to sit in the yellow sunshine chair over the next week to promote kindness throughout CES!
Vivie Thompson (Mrs. Snyder’s 1st grade class)
Vivie always has a smile on her face! She enjoys helping out around the classroom & works well with her classmates. Way to go, Vivie!
Oaklee Ireland (Mrs. Myers’ Class 2nd Grade)
Oaklee is very kind to everyone in and outside of our classroom. She often goes out of her way to help others. She is a great example of kindness!
Sydney Britt (Mrs. Gilliland's 5th Grade) Sydney is always willing to include everyone. At recess she saw a student who didn't have anyone to play with and she asked them to play. She made sure she asked what they wanted to do. When they were not sure she gave suggestions and asked questions to help the student with options. She played with the student the entire recess and even introduced them to other people. She was not asked or prompted to do this and it was amazing to see at the 5th grade level. She is always including everyone this was just one example. Keep it up Sydney!
