Congratulations to Skyler Dye, Alayia Etheridge, Halie Gault, Jkya White, James Griffin, Trent Jacobs, Sadie Midgyett, Keonnia Morgan, Gabby Wigchert, and Jessica Reeter they are the R.A.K.E. award winners for the past few school days. They were identified doing the following; Skyler, Alayia, and Halie were identified volunteering to finish changing out the trash cans in a teacher's room. Jkya was identified enthusiastically welcoming a new student to an Advisory class. Jkya invited this student to sit next to her and chatted (quietly) with the student during that time to help the student feel less nervous and welcome at CHS. Trent and James went out of their way to help a student that needed a little help on the band trip in Chicago. They were always helping the student on and off the charter buses. This was quite a selfless act. Sadie and Keona picked up trash around the stadium that was left on the ground without being asked or told to do so. Jessica volunteered to help at the track meet we hosted without being asked to do so. Gabby turned in a cell phone and airpods she found in the bathroom. Congratulations to all of these students for showing Random Acts of Kindness Everywhere, R.A.K.E.'s.
