Congratulations to state medalists Isabella Garr and Rylee Washburn, they finished 4th in girls' tennis doubles at the state tournament. They are only the third girls' doubles pair to ever qualify for the MSHSAA Final Four. The last pair to accomplish this feat was Coach Lily Pyrtle and Jaimie Baker in 2008, and before that, Katie Stephens and Emily Robinson in 1996.

Congratulations to Lexi Lybarger, Selena Dollins, and Lillian Kitchin, they are R.A.K.E. award winners. They were identified as doing the following; Lexi Lybarger - We had a guest speaker in our classroom and Lexi was super friendly and helpful to her. She is a servant leader in every way! Thank you! Selena Dollins and Lillian Kitchin-Selena and Lillian volunteered to help with custodial work to keep our classroom clean. This was very helpful since we are short a custodian at CELC. Thank you! The College and Career Fair has begun this evening at Chillicothe High School. Over 36 vendors are present to talk about your son or daughter's future college, university, or occupational career choices. The event runs until 8:00 p.m. in the CHS commons. This event has been organized by long-time College and Career Readiness counselor Mrs. Cindy Baker.

Congratulations to Jasiah Howe and Urijah Hunt, they are R.A.K.E. award winners. They were identified as doing the following; Jasiah Howe - Jasiah saw another student sitting by himself at lunch outside and went over and talked to him. Urijah Hunt - Urijah loaned his calculator to a student who did not have one for the test. He made sure to ask me to clear the memory from the calculator before giving it to the student. Not only was he kind, he was academically responsible as well.
