Anna Sprong - Anna played her ukulele throughout the Advisory to create a relaxed, calm vibe on a high-energy day. We appreciate you, Anna!
Noah Jackson - Noah turned in a wallet to the office that he found in the hallway.
Jack Schneiter - A student fell off the bus and Jack was the only one who helped this student up after they fell getting off the bus.

CHS senior Mason Meservey has been selected as a semi-finalist for the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. The Coca-Cola Scholars Program scholarship is an achievement-based scholarship awarded to students in their final year of high school. Students are recognized for their capacity to lead and serve, as well as their commitment to making a significant impact on their schools and communities.
It was reported that there were 103,800 applicants nationwide for the Coca-Cola scholarships. Only 1,514 students were selected across the United States to be semi-finalists in this scholarship program.

Any and all veterans are welcome to attend the Chillicothe High School Veteran's Day assembly on November 10 in the performing arts center. We will honor all veterans who attend this ceremony and all branches of military service. Veterans are welcomed to the PAC foyer before the ceremony to enjoy cinnamon rolls and donuts that will be served from 7:45-8:30 a.m. with the ceremony beginning at 8:30 a.m.


Good afternoon, everyone! There's no school tomorrow (Wednesday, Nov. 1st), as the Chillicothe R-II School District will have a planned Professional Development Day for staff. Happy Halloween everyone!


Congratulations to the Marching Hornets for a 2nd place win at Cameron Marchfest! The indoor drumline earned 4th place, the indoor flag corps earned 3rd place, and the flags also earned Most Outstanding Auxiliary in the parade. Great job Marching Hornets!

Parent-teacher conferences will be held on October 26 from 1:00-7:00 p.m. in the CHS gym. Parents should feel free to stop by and visit with their son or daughter's Advisory teacher, pick up their report card and EOC or MAP testing results from last year. Parents will also have the opportunity to talk to any other teachers they may wish to talk to on their son or daughter's schedule. School will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m. on October 26. School is not in session on October 27.

Tailgating has begun for tonight's football game at Chillicothe High School sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce. Stop by and enjoy games and yummy treats.


Mrs. Duckworth's Spanish Club is having a party after school decorating pumpkins and enjoying Spanish style food. It is good to see so many of the CHS staff staying after school hours spending time with students.

See the attached image and information about the tailgate special the Chillicothe Area Chamber of Commerce is providing in the PAC parking lot this evening from 5:00-6:30 p.m. before the football game vs. Benton at 7:00 p.m.


The JV football game for Monday vs. Benton has been canceled by Benton due to low numbers. Chillicothe will instead play Trenton at home at 6:00 pm on Monday, October 23.

Gwen Fitzpatrick - Picked up someone's credit card and returned it to the Supt. Office for them to return to the owner.
Talina Gutierrez - Offered to walk another student to the office who wasn't feeling well.
Allison Ashbrook - picked up the used bingo boards after our review game in class.
