Kindergarten students work on Reading Super Powers!

In a normal year, we would enjoy visits from our “reading buddies.” This year, these visits are not happening due to COVID. However, the kindergartners thoroughly enjoyed listening to the 5th grade students at Dewey talk with them using an online tool called Flipgrid. The older students discussed what they were currently working on in writing, something that is tricky for them while writing, and also something they are proud of in their writing! The kindergartners loved hearing how some of the things that they find tricky while writing, can also be tricky for a 5th grade student! #learningtogether
