Due to the threat of severe weather, which is predicted to hit during our regular dismissal time, the Chillicothe R-II School District will have an early release today, aPRIL 17, 2026, to ensure students are not on buses when the storm arrives.

The dismissal schedule is as follows:
Chillicothe Elementary School: 12:55 PM
Chillicothe High School: 1:10 PM
Chillicothe Early Learning Center (PM Students): 1:15 PM
Chillicothe Middle School: 1:20 PM

Our AM students were surprised by a visit from Cincinnati Bengals offensive guard Dalton Risner! Risner’s niece attends CELC, and he brought donuts and his book, Rise Up.
