
Congratulations to Gabe Hansen, Colton Sullivan, Corbin Rodenberg, and Brody Hollifield, they are the R.A.K.E. award winners for the past few days. They were identified as doing the following - Gabe Hansen - Gabe immediately started helping carry out chairs for our overflow crowd at FAFSA Frenzy. He did not take a seat himself until he saw everyone else was taken care of. Thanks Gabe!Colton Sullivan - Colton is always helpful and hard-working. He made sure all the chairs were put up at the end of the day after everyone left. He is awesome!Corbin Rodenberg - Corbin is always cheerful and engaged in class. Picks up trash around the room before he leaves. Gives his teacher a high five on the way out the door every day. Finally, saw a student nearly left their purse in class and rushed to catch them before they left.Brody Hollifield - Brody jumped up to open the door for a student who was a little late coming back form lunch. All the other students just looked at the door and he showed wonderful manners to get the door for her! Chivalry is not dead! Thank you, Brody!

CHS FAFSA Frenzy had an attendance of approximately 100 with 43 seniors being represented. The meeting included senior information from Mrs. Tipton, a scholarship update from Mrs. Baker, an introduction to Vocational Rehabilitation from Mrs. Amy Guyett and a Financial Aid/FAFSA presentation from North Central Missouri College Financial Aid officers. Eight families stayed and were able to complete their FAFSA on site.


Due to the success of the Chillicothe Lady Hornets Softball team parent-teacher conferences in the Chillicothe High School gym will end early. We will be ending our conferences at 6:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, so that we can go to Danner Park and cheer on the team in the quarterfinal playoff softball game that we are hosting. If you need to meet with a particular teacher, please feel free to contact them to discuss the matter. Congratulations to the Chillicothe High School softball team, class 3 district 8 champions! They will host Oak Grove in the state quarterfinals on Thursday evening at Danner Park in Chillicothe, game time T.B.D. The winner of that game advances to the MSHSAA state softball Final Four! Find your way out to Danner Park on Thursday evening and support the Chillicothe High School softball team as they try to punch their ticket to the MSHSAA Softball Final Four.

Parent-Teacher Conferences are an important opportunity to sit down and review your son or daughter's progress in school. Random Acts of Kindness Pictures Continued



Congratulations to Gavin Gerardino, Jackson Reeter, Sol'jer Allen, Jackson Trout, Justin Pyle, and Noah Rinehart they are the R.A.K.E. award winners for the past few days. They were identified as doing the following -
Gavin Gerardino - Gavin is the epitome of kind and considerate on a daily basis. Today, a student put one of my Halloween decoration spiders on the floor and Gavin immediately picked it up and put it back. He is so awesome!
Jackson Reeter and Sol'jer Allen - They helped set up for the volleyball matches in between the JV and V games when we were trying to do it quickly. Their help was very much appreciated!
Jackson Trout, Justin Pyle, Noah Rinehart - He helped pick up chairs and other things after the volleyball match. His help was very much appreciated!

Congratulations to the Chillicothe High School girls tennis team, by winning their team sectional and quarterfinal today they have advanced to the MSHSAA team girls tennis final four earning a state trophy!

Congratulations to Isabella Garr, Cami Carpenter, and Rylee Washburn on qualifying for the state tennis tournament! Isabella and Rylee will compete in doubles together while Cami (pictured middle) will represent the Hornets in singles. Good luck ladies! Hard work pays off.


Check it out! The Cresset Staff recently won another Gallery of Excellence award from Walsworth Publishing for the 2021-2022 yearbook "Stung." The current staff is pictured here with Walsworth representative Tara Diegelman. Mrs. Rule and her students work incredibly hard to make this project a huge success every year.

Congratulations to Brody Hollifield, Michael Head, Landon Winder, Jkya White, Aidan White, Morgan Kincade, Andrew Johnson, and Jesse Cairns, they are the R.A.K.E. award winners for the past few days. They were identified as doing the following -
Brody Hollifield - While a teacher was carrying out a heavy box for the Homecoming concession stand to my car after school, Brody Hollifield immediately came over to me and offered to carry it to my car for me. It made my day!
Michael Head - took down the chairs in my classroom during 1st hour without being asked before the class started.
Landon Winder - Held the front door open this morning for 3 teachers and a few other students.
Jkya White - Without being asked, Jkya helped a group of students put away their dishes at the end of the food lab who were running behind. The group was very appreciative of her help so they could get out of class on time!
Aidan White - Aidan stayed after class 8th hour and put up chairs without being asked.
Morgan Kincade - A student spilled water on the hallway floor by accident at the bottle filler, and he felt really bad about it. She reassured him it was an accident and just water and easy to clean up.
Jesse Cairns - He held the door open for everyone coming in and out of PAC doorway today for the fire drill.
Andrew Johnson - Held the front door open as someone was entering with a giant crock pot of chili.
