CES will celebrate our 100th day of school on Friday, February 19th! "Zero the Hero" will be at CES to celebrate this special day, and we encourage students to dress like they are 100 years old! Here is to making it to 100 in 2021! #cespride
K and 1st grade classes have been completing "Kindness Missions" for the Kind Kids Club! So far students have made Valentines for Firefighters, teachers, and nursing homes. We have also cleaned classrooms for other teachers and students, read to younger classes, and made bookmarks for the local children's library and the CES library. #growingserviceleaders

Due to the Wind Chill Warning that extends through noon tomorrow, the Chillicothe R-2 School District will not be in session on Tuesday, February 16th. We will NOT be implementing an AMI day. Valentines parties will now be Wednesday, February 17th.

The Valentines parties scheduled for Friday, February 12th will now be Tuesday, February 16th. Chillicothe R-2 School District will not be in session on Tuesday, February 9, 2021, due to road conditions and extreme wind chills.
We will be implementing an Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Day so that your child may learn at home. Please go to tinyurl.com/CESChoiceBoardFeb9 to access the Chillicothe Elementary School Choice Board for February 9th.
As a reminder, the Alternative Methods of Instruction (AMI) Day provides the opportunity for your child to engage in learning at home that counts toward your child's attendance for the day.
