Bryson from Mrs. Hansen's class made sure to bring extra stuffed animals to school on stuffed animal day just in case someone else forgot theirs at home! So sweet!
Haley from Mrs. Snyder's class delivers kind notes to teachers! She does this to brighten their days! Thank you Haley!

Congratulations to Kembrie Evilsizer (K) and Preston Robbins (1st grader) for increasing their fall-to-spring i-Ready scores by 120 points this year! We love to see the growth and progress our students have made this year! Keep reading, writing, and math as a daily habit over the summer so we can be even stronger learners next school year!
CES had some special guests for CMS Cares Day! Mrs. Corbin and Mrs. DeBoer's 6th graders beautified our playground and also participated in recess with our kindergarten and 1st-grade classes. We appreciate 23 years of giving back with CMS Cares Day!

Today, our 1st-grade ambassadors visited the kindergarten classrooms and shared what to expect in 1st grade. Super proud of our 1st-grade leaders for speaking up and answering questions for our incoming first graders! Well done, kiddos!

Our final "Let Your Kind Shine" recipient for the 2023-24 school year goes to 1st grader, Camdyn Wheeler! Camdyn works hard and leads by example. His teacher, Miss Snyder says, "Camdyn is always doing the right thing and is kind to everyone." CES is filled with kindness and we have enjoyed highlighting the many kind students each week!

Partners in Education (P.I.E.) began in 1992 to enhance the bond between the community and educational settings, but most importantly connecting children to their community.
We greatly appreciate all of the businesses that participate in the program as we know it takes time and dedication to be a partner. Thanks for supporting our schools and building a legacy at Chillicothe Elementary School!
The Class of 2024 visited CES today for a Senior Walk. Our elementary students were elated to cheer on our senior class!
"Nacho Average Teachers" at Chillicothe Elementary School! Our CES family "Sunshine Squad" brought in a fiesta for our staff today. What a way to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so grateful to the many CES families for your kindness throughout the week!
Our 1st graders visited the Litton Ag Center today. The Chillicothe FFA visited CES earlier in the year to help students plant flower seeds. Then the FFA cared for those seeds at their greenhouse. Today, first graders got to repot our mature Mother’s Day Flowers. We also got to visit the animals and pond. Thanks Chillicothe FFA!
