Addi Edds has been busy representing Chillicothe and Missouri FCCLA in a big way! ❤️🖤

As MO FCCLA State Vice President of Community Service, Addi spent September 21–22 in Jefferson City attending the FCCLA Roadshow and DESE Family & Consumer Sciences Mentoring meetings. Addi, FCCLA Adviser Mrs. Christy, and State President Lydea Britt (Salisbury) presented to both groups on a variety of FCCLA topics and helped share the impact FCCLA has on students across our state.

Addi and Lydea also had the opportunity to visit with Travis Plume, Assistant Commissioner in the Office of College & Career Readiness, to talk about their involvement in FCCLA and the leadership experiences it provides.

Spanish students put their skills to the test during Homecoming Week with a fun Escape Room review activity!

Working in teams, students solved puzzles entirely in Spanish by finding and decoding hidden clues placed all around the room. It was a great challenge that required collaboration, communication, and critical thinking—while reinforcing what they’ve been learning in class.

Way to work together, everyone!
