Dear Parents:
Due to a technical issue with Book Blast, one teacher was left off the list. I want to make sure all students in that classroom also have the chance to win the Treasure Chest so I chose not to give one out today. As of this moment, I still do not have verification the teacher has been added correctly. Therefore, I will wait until the teacher has been added and the parents have had a chance to complete the Treasure Map (the evening of getting the name added) before I draw for the Treasure Chests. Please accept my apologies for this unforeseen issue and know I want to make sure all participating students have the same chance at the Treasure Chests.
In the past 24 hours, hundreds of families answered our call, sending thousands of emails and text messages to friends and family around the world! We’re so excited to see that expanding home libraries and supporting our teachers is as important to you as it is to us. We know we’ll be creating lifelong readers with this program!

There is a lot of talk about the weather at Dewey School today. This required an impromptu mini- lesson on forecasting. These ladies made graphs tracking wind, wind gusts, temperature and cloud coverage. Halle predicts 2-3” of snow and Livia predicts 6”. #dewey45
