Eden French - Another student wasn't feeling great about having to select a group of students to work with on a group project. Eden quickly stated, "Hey, she can join our group!" and welcomed the student into their group.

Congratulations to Jameson Marshall, he was the R.A.K.E. award winner for today. He was identified as doing the following;
A freshman student was lost and couldn't find their advisory classroom on the first day of school. Jameson knew the location of the advisory room and walked the student to that classroom, helping them find their way and not be late for class.

Hey everyone! Just a quick reminder that dual credit forms and payments are due Monday, August 25th.

Also, check out the scholarship info below — if you get it, you’ll get reimbursed later in the semester for what you paid for your dual credit classes.

MDHEWD’s Dual Credit/Dual Enrollment Scholarship Application for the 2025-26 Academic Year is now open for students to apply!

If you are unfamiliar with this scholarship program here are the quick facts:

1. It is all completely through the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development
2. Students who meet the eligibility criteria and are approved, will have 100% of their NCMC Dual Credit and Early College tuition paid for!!!
3. There are income specifications, but I would encourage you to have anyone that could at all potentially be eligible to apply
4. If a student gets the scholarship in the Fall, they are guaranteed to be covered in the Spring as well!
5. Typically those being awarded the scholarship will be notified in late November with payment in December for the Fall classes.
