Families, students, and community members often begin checking fall sports schedules early, and we want to share an update on why the 2026-27 activity schedules are not posted on our website yet.
Why schedules aren’t posted yet
Chillicothe R-II, along with the MEC Conference, has switched to a new scheduling program for athletic and activities events. Because we’re transitioning systems as a conference, schedules will not populate on our website until the transfer and setup process is complete.
When schedules will be available
In mid-July, the transfer process will begin, and the scheduling company will start entering all of our Fall 2026 contests and events. They already have the information needed to complete the setup.
We expect schedules to begin appearing mid to late July, as entries are finalized and published.
What this change improves
Moving to this new program will be:
More user-friendly for Athletic Directors and building staff
More consistent across the conference, since all MEC schools are using the same system
More streamlined, making schedule updates and changes easier to manage and communicate
New app coming soon
This new scheduling software also includes a mobile app. Once our schedules are live and the app is ready for public use, we will let our dedicated sports fans know!
In the meantime, our schedule information is available through MSHSAA.
