Three Chillicothe High School artists have a special reason to celebrate.
This year, our students entered the Young American Creative Patriotic Art Contest, hosted through the VFW Auxiliary 858—a competition that challenges young artists to capture what patriotism means to them through original artwork. With creativity, care, and a lot of time behind the scenes, these students turned big ideas into pieces they can be proud of.
Please join us in congratulating our winners:
Emerie Kale – Third Place
Olivia Jenkins – Second Place
Kierra Williams – First Place (and advancing to State)
Below is Kierra Williams’ first-place artwork, which is moving forward to the state level—an exciting honor and a wonderful reflection of her talent and dedication.

We’re proud of all three students for representing Chillicothe so well, and we’re grateful to the VFW Auxiliary 858 for supporting student creativity and patriotic expression. Congratulations, and good luck at State, Kierra!
