Saturday, 30 members of the Chillicothe 7th and 8th grade bands participated in the Gallatin Solo/Ensemble Festival and represented our district with excellence. Two students earned an Outstanding (II) rating, and twenty-eight earned an Exemplary (I) rating.
James Cookinham, assistant band director, said the day was amazing and the band students put forth a tremendous effort. "Mrs. Cavanah and I are incredibly proud of these students and the hard work they put into their performances. Thank you to our families and community for your continued support of our band program," Cookinham said.
