Angela Nagel is a passionate advocate for human resources, ensuring that all paperwork is completed accurately, neatly, and on time. Her commitment to helping others navigate challenges related to benefits, contracts, and budgets is unparalleled. Angela's primary mission is to align the district's human resources procedures and policies with state and federal law, always prioritizing compliance, even when faced with difficult decisions.
Beyond her technical expertise, Angela is a thoughtful leader who consistently thinks of her colleagues. She often plans recognitions for staff members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment. Her proactive nature means she takes care of her responsibilities without needing to be asked, always striving to do her job to the best of her ability. Other school districts frequently seek her advice, recognizing her as an expert in human resources. Angela's dedication and initiative make her an invaluable asset to our district.
Shane Miller: A Beacon of Support and Positivity
Shane Miller has made a significant impact at Chillicothe High School by creating a welcoming environment for students. He sponsored the upstart D & D Club, providing a niche for students who may not be involved in other groups. Shane is also dedicated to academic success, offering one-on-one math tutoring on Wednesdays after school, ensuring that every student has the support they need to thrive.
His positive demeanor and unwavering support for students are evident in everything he does. Shane works diligently, often beyond contract hours, to refine lesson plans and adjust instruction for optimal student outcomes. He collaborates with the math department to evaluate EOC data, identify gaps, and modify assessments accordingly. Shane's willingness to step up and fill coverage gaps within the faculty team exemplifies his commitment to our school community.
