After over two months of working out of the Chillicothe High School Library, the Administrative Offices of Chillicothe R-II School District will be moving Thursday afternoon to a new temporary location at 2005 Washington Street. Superintendent Dan Wiebers explains that the office will work out of that location until the renovation work at the District’s permanent Central Office is completed. The District’s Administrative Office at 1020 Old Highway 36 West was flooded after the Grand River hit near record levels in late May.

“Our central office staff is ready to settle into our new temporary location and our relocation will allow our high school staff and custodians continue their efforts to prepare for the start of the 2019-20 school year.” Mr. Wiebers explained that the renovation work at District Offices will likely be completed by late summer or early fall.

“We are very thankful to Jim Bonderer, of Edward D. Jones in Chillicothe, for allowing us to rent this space for a few months.”

The phone number for the District Office will remain the same – 660-646-4566.
