District Offering Early Childhood Screening
C-T Photo / Catherine Stortz Ripley Published: Friday, April 18, 2008, C-T: Chillicothe R-2 School District personnel will conduct a free screening for 2-4 year-old children on April 29-30 and May 1-2 at Garrison School, 209 Henry Street. The screening will include hearing, vision and health screenings, height and weight screenings, speech assessment, developmental screening and a check of immunization records. The screening will take approximately one hour and parents will be with their child during this time. Parents or guardians are asked to call Garrison School at 646-1653 to schedule an appointment. |

At this station, Morgan assessed Gavin's fine and large motor skills, his
writing ability and hand control. The screening is being offered this week
for children ages 2 to 4 years of age in the Chillicothe R-2 School
District and also includes screenings of hearing, vision, health, height,
weight and speech as well as a check of immunization records.
