The Chillicothe R-II School District has received the State’s Distinction in Performance Award four of the past six years. In 2004, the Chillicothe High School received the “No Child Left Behind” Blue Ribbon School award and was designated as a Missouri Gold Star School.

Over 80% of our graduates continue their education in a post-high program. The district’s ACT average is consistently over the state average with a 22 in 2005. The district’s annual dropout rate is below 4%. Chillicothe also offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities and we pride ourselves in competitive performance at Conference, District and State levels.
