Chillicothe High School football supporters were painting the town red (and black) this weekend to prepare for homecoming week. Activities start Tuesday and continue with week’s highlights of the homecoming parade at 2:20 p.m. Friday, the football game at 7 p.m. Friday, followed by the coronation; and a dance on Saturday. Diane VanHoutan (above), mother of CHS Hornets Justin VanHoutan and A.J. VanHoutan, was among many supporters lining the streets and painting the windows of businesses on Saturday and Sunday.

The Football Moms sold Hornet T-shirts again this year as their annual fundraiser. We were very successful and thank you for your support! This fundraiser is over but watch for new t-shirts to go on sale next season! Go Hornets!!!
