Board of Education Increases Facility Rental Fees

It will cost a bit more to rent the school district's facilities after a unanimous vote Tuesday night at district headquarters during the regular August Chillicothe R-2 board meeting. The current facility rental rates were established in 2004. Supt. Dale Wallace informed board members that a slight increase in rates is justified in the heavily used areas such as the Gary Dickinson Performing Arts Center, the high school commons area, and the gymnasium.

The new rates, effective immediately, increase the rental fees for the GPAC, high school gymnasium, commons area, cafeteria, classrooms, and the stadium dress room by $10 to $25. The new rates also raise the cost of renting microphones, the grand piano, and the district's risers/platforms by $20 per day.

  $9 hour/room/day (Minimum $40 room/day)

Secretarial Services
(If district is contact and/or takes enrollment)

• College Credit Courses
  $120 per Course
• Copier Usage
  $.10 per copy

Technology Services

• Computer Lab
  $25.00 per clock hour of class
• ITV Lab
  $30.00 per clock hour of class
  Technician will be provided

Custodial Services

• No fee if class meets during hours and on days when school is in session.
• $20.00 per hour when school is not in session.
